Pollen = Allergies

Spring is in the air - literally! Our cars have turned yellow in color and I at least have one sneeze attack twice a day! Due to the lack of rain, pollen season has become very bad this year. Everything is covered with pollen. YUCK!

I've been super busy - I hardly have time to blog anymore. I'm busy with work and also preparing for a baby shower. Not mine! My old roomie is expecting and the shower will be up in NOVA. I can't wait to see her and the rest of our friends. It's been a while since we were last there. Just two more months and Evan will be 2 years old. WOW - how time flies. And in two weeks its Easter! My nephew Christian will be 7 yrs. old or 8? Umm...all I know is - he's growing fast and I just feel older and older as the years go by.

I don't have anything exciting to report. Oh - our taxes are done! Woo hoo! I'm not too sure on how good the return is -- but at least we're getting something back this year. I'll find out on Friday. I'm sure it not enough for a trip to Japan though. SORRY Rhojon!!

A NEW CELL PHONE!!

Well, after 5 years of having the same cell phone - we finally bought new ones! I have that feeling as if I just bought a new pair of shoes. :)

We originally had T-Mobile when living in VA/DC Metro area; we were told that they had T-Mobile in SC. They do have T-Mobile here, just not in Columbia! So, we switched to Cingular. At first we had some trouble with contracts and over the limit minutes with Cingular and we would also have trouble receiving incoming calls when we traveled to VA. That's annoying! All-in-all, we now have the latest greatest cell phones! Well, not at this hour - I'm charging the batteries, then would need to transfer the Sim card.

So, with that said - Cy and I will have working NEW cell phones later this evening. I can't wait to test it out! It has lots of features (camera, mp3 player, video, bluetooth cap., etc.) - I'm sure I don't need, but gonna love! Woo hoo!

Another month gone by...

Gosh how time flies so fast! Speaking of - last night we had some CRAZY weather here in Columbia. Mr. Kitty and Gigi were going nuts over hearing the loud wind and rain pounding on our roof. Little E was sound asleep. We have lots of trees around our house, and about 2 am this morning, the wind was so loud - it woke me up! I just put my hands on Cy - and prayed out loud to God to please don't let our house get hit with any trees. God answers prayers. We had a few twigs in our driveway...that's about it. Praise God nothing else happend, oppose to the people in Alabama.

At the office our awning came loose at the seams, so its blowing "freely". It's covered under insurance, so I'm sure they'll get that fixed. :)

Anyway, it's been a while since I've blogged, and honestly -- nothing has changed. Took Evan to the indoor pool on Sunday -- LOVED IT! We're going again tomorrow. Evan has been using his words and loves to mimic me while I'm on the phone. He's so cute. He's become very independant and loves to do things on his own. He spent the past two weeks at Ms. Judy's house - she's our sitter who watches him every-other Monday. His regular sitter - Ms. Lynn has been in Japan for her brother's wedding. She comes back this weekend, so Evan will be back with her next week! OH -- WE GOT A NEW SIGN FOR EARLY'S AUTO SERVICE! IT'S ACROSS THE STREET FROM THE SHOP! That's something new!

A funny thing happend, and I'll make this short. On Tuesday - we made arrangements for Cy to pickup Evan while I stay a little late at work. Fine. Settled. Cy will pick Evan up by 5 pm. Of all days - he leaves promptly from the shop heading to pick up Evan. Can I tell you he was on TIME!! YES - he was! Got there, knocked on the door and waited. BUT GUESS WHAT -- he went to the WRONG SITTER!! He drove 25 minutes to Ms. Lynn's house, only to find out that Evan was not there, but was at Ms. Judy's. Remember....Ms. Lynn is in Japan. Poor CY!! What a mess! Cy back-tracked, got on the highway (again) and headed for Ms. Judy's. Whew.....We all got a good laugh about this. I can't wait to tell this story to Ms. Lynn. :)
